Warranty & Returns

At PeakVO₂, we stand behind the quality and performance of our products. If you experience an issue with your device, we're committed to helping you resolve it quickly and fairly.

Limited Warranty

PeakVO₂ warrants that the PeakVO₂ Core device will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from PeakVO₂ or an authorized reseller.

What Is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Faulty electronic or mechanical components

  • Device malfunctions occurring during normal intended use

  • Failures resulting from defects in materials or workmanship

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, neglect, or improper storage

  • Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications, repairs, or disassembly

  • Damage caused by improper cleaning or maintenance

  • Consumable components, including filters, tubing, and masks, except where a manufacturing defect is present upon delivery

  • Loss, theft, or unauthorized use

  • Damage caused by use outside the published operating specifications

PeakVO₂ reserves the right to inspect any product submitted for warranty evaluation before approving a repair or replacement.

Commercial Use Warranty

Devices used in commercial environments, including fitness facilities, clinics, wellness centers, universities, research organizations, or other multi-user settings, are covered by the same one (1) year limited warranty unless otherwise specified in a separate commercial agreement.

Consumable components used in commercial settings are not covered beyond defects identified upon delivery.

Returns Policy

Eligible PeakVO₂ Core devices may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

  • The return request must be submitted within 30 days of delivery

  • The device must be in good working condition

  • Proof of purchase is required

  • All original accessories, manuals, and packaging must be included

Respiratory Product Hygiene Policy

Because PeakVO₂ products are used for respiratory measurement and come into contact with exhaled breath, certain items cannot be returned once opened or used.

The following items are non-returnable once opened:

  • Masks

  • Filters

  • Tubing

  • Other hygiene-related accessories

Opened respiratory accessories cannot be resold or reused for health and safety reasons.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Used masks, filters, tubing, or respiratory accessories

  • Products damaged by misuse or improper handling

  • Products missing major components or accessories

  • Final-sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Customized or special-order products

Cleaning Requirements for Returns

Returned devices must be cleaned and sanitized according to the instructions provided in the user manual before shipment.

PeakVO₂ reserves the right to refuse returns that:

  • Present a health or biohazard risk

  • Show evidence of contamination

  • Have not been reasonably cleaned before return

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, contact our support team:

Please include:

  • Order number

  • Product serial number (if applicable)

  • Reason for return

  • Photos or videos if the product is damaged, defective, or not functioning properly

Our team will review your request and provide return instructions.

Refunds

Once a returned product is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Processing may take 5–10 business days after approval

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

If a return does not meet the requirements outlined in this policy, a refund may be reduced or denied.

Exchanges

If a product is determined to be defective under warranty, PeakVO₂ will repair or replace the product at its discretion.

Replacement products may be new or refurbished to like-new condition.

Shipping Costs

Standard Returns

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for non-defective products.

Warranty Claims & Defective Products

If a product is confirmed to be defective under warranty, PeakVO₂ will cover reasonable shipping costs associated with repair or replacement.

Damaged or Defective Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged or appears defective:

  • Notify us within seven (7) days of delivery

  • Retain all original packaging materials

  • Provide photos of the product and packaging

Failure to report shipping damage within seven (7) days may affect eligibility for replacement.

International Orders

For international orders:

  • Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other government-imposed charges

  • International return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is confirmed defective under warranty

  • PeakVO₂ is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or local import regulations

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PeakVO₂ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use its products.

PeakVO₂'s total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
